Tiles : Important part of House?s Interior Designing.

We present to you the trifecta of interior designing – Personality, Function & Mood!

No matter the size of the room, or the depth of your wallet, just abide by these three ingredients, and you’re golden.

As we all know, a majestic interior isn’t just static, but it helps create an aura, a sense of belonging, and personifies the set of people living there.

Without much further ado, let’s address the elephant in the room.

  1. The element of Personality:

Do you know the difference between your room and the other rooms in your house? Well, the other rooms aren’t simply yours! Ergo, what your room desperately needs is a personal stamp of authority.

Here’s what you can do to accomplish that:

  1. Accessorize!

Whether it is a bean bag, or a football shaped pillow, or an antique vase or incorporating digital tiles, don’t hesitate in making the room your own. An accessory can be as small as a pencil stand, and as big as a personalized bar (Not that we advocate for that kind of stuff).

  1. Unravel your creative side:

Following the conventions might not be the best way to go! Brainstorm creative and articulate ways of giving your room the personal touch it seeks.

  1. Ooze your passion:

Let the wall tiles do the talking! That wallpaper of Cristiano Ronaldo will do the trick for you, or the acronym ‘MUFC’ [Manchester United Football Club] painted all over your tiles, or the Nadal themed bed sheets. You get the picture!

  1. A sense of Function:

Making a room really tick is more than just eye appeal, as your senses need the whole package.

As they say, ‘everything has a purpose’, and interior designing is no different.

  1. Focal Point:

Every room deserves an eye pleasing focal point (First thing you see when you enter a room). It could be a personalized wallpaper, a picture frame, a mammoth bookshelf, or a sophisticated wall clock, just make sure that a single peek is never enough for your guests.

  1. Lighting:

Some pieces of furniture just brighten up the place, don’t they? Lighting is something which is often underrated, but it deserves the utmost attention. Always remember - First impression is the last impression!

  1. Furniture:

Make sure that every piece of furniture, be it a molecule, has a purpose. Note down the dimensions of the room (This will additionally help you to plan out the number of tiles you’re going to need), and accordingly, utilize the available space as diligently as possible.

Tip: Keep the focal point under consideration.

  1. Mood Rules:

It might be a little weird for you to hear that even a room has moods. The best part is that the ball is in your court when it comes down to this. A room isn’t just a collection of furniture and beds, its much more than that.

Some noteworthy factors:

  1. Theme:

Give your room a story, or a theme per se, one which is in sync with how you are as a person.

  1. Piece de resistance:

According to your theme, choose a suitable source of inspiration for your room, a thing which makes you feel at ease, with every glance.

  1. Colors:

If a room is your body, then a color is the oxygen which drives the entire being forward.

  1. Textures & Patterns:

Try to get the right mix when it comes to deciding patterns and textures, especially for your floor tiles and wall tiles. Try and spice it up a bit by using different varieties, in sync with the room theme.

Tip: Less is more!
