Traditional Style Of Having A Dedicated Server For Each Server In A Hetnet Infra

The infrastructure of a heterogeneous network is not the same as the infrastructure of a monolithic network. While both can be described as a "computer network", the reality is far from that. A computer network in its most simple form consists of a collection of devices connected through cables and wires to one another. The term "infrastructure" is very wide and covers many different aspects of a computer network. It is necessary to have different types of interfaces in order to allow various processes on the network to have access to the same hardware. For example, at an ISP's end, there would usually be a router along with a network interface that allows for a PC to connect to the network. In turn, every PC that is connected to the network has an IP address that uniquely identifies them within the network.

In contrast, at the end of the network is the network server or WAN. This is where all the different components of the network interact with one another. Often, a server is hosted on a dedicated host server (DAS) which is a different type of appliance than what one would expect. As opposed to the traditional style of having a dedicated server for each server in a HetNet infrastructure, DAS's are much more flexible and can accommodate any demand for expansion that may occur in the future. There are many advantages to using a HetNet infrastructure. Heterogeneous equipment means that there is no compatibility issue between different components within a system. This is especially true when it comes to networking equipment. In a HetNet infrastructure, users don't have to worry about things such as how the equipment is set up to behave with other equipment. By putting everything in different places, all the pieces function as a whole and this allows for maximum efficiency.
