Next Generation In-vehicle Networking (IVN) is a type of technology incorporated in a car or any other vehicle. In fact, it is the integration of various systems, like telematics, networking, and diagnostics that are using to provide improved services to users. One can also define this technology as an application that enables devices that are built into a car to interact with wireless technologies such as Bluetooth and WiMax. The modern mobile phone offers a myriad of data and communication options. This technology allows individuals to stay in touch with their friends, colleagues, and relatives wherever they go. Some of the data can be exchanged via applications. For example, a person can send text messages, share pictures, and videos and play music through their phone. They can also do things like access maps, locate restaurant coupons, reserve a room, and check flight timings.

On the other hand, there are certain applications that can be used by a car. For instance, some of these applications include payment applications, entertainment applications, and navigation applications. Another application of next generation in-vehicle networking (IVN) is the address book that helps people to find a particular person by entering the street address. All these applications can be used by the driver in real-time. The driver does not need to press any button to start talking to somebody. They just have to pay attention to anything that is moving nearby and make a move. The advantage of using this technology is that it is faster and easier than dialing a number or making a call.
