Summer is quickly approaching and it’s time to get out there and vacation as much as possible. With schools and colleges out of session, spending time with family is on most people’s list. There are several activities to do this summer allowing the entire family to have fun and make lasting memories.

Glacier National Park

Visiting Montana’s Glacier National Park will allow the entire family to get out in nature and enjoy plenty of activities. Glacier National Park has over one million acres, 700 lakes, waterfalls, and cool summer temperatures. The best time to visit is in July or August as the temperatures are in the mid-70s. There are opportunities to hike scenic trails, kayaking, swimming, and fishing. The visitors center will provide a history of the park to include exhibits, a bookstore, and guided hikes.

Go On A Cruise

New England has perfect weather during the summer and going on a cruise will allow you to have fun in the sun. Most cruises depart from Cape Liberty, New York, and end in Canada. The temperatures are comfortable and the night's crisp air is relaxing. The cruise will allow you to visit historic sites in New England and Canada such as Fenway Park, Bar Harbor Maine, Cape Elizabeth, lighthouses, and Halifax Nova Scotia.

There are several arcades to keep the kids busy or take the entire family on a deep-sea fishing whale-watching cruise on Al Gauron Fisheries, Inc vessel. If you are into seeing live music or comedy, visit the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom. With several shows each week, you are bound to find the perfect event.
