Uganda - Home to Africa's Gentle Giants Greetings from a country which many fondly refer to as the "Pearl of Africa". Uganda had often been portrayed as a land of broken dreams and dictators, but of recent there is something more than that. Uganda is now a land of dignity and determination. It is home to the famous Rwenzori Mountains, also known as the Legendary Mountains of the Moon, the virgin rolling hills of the Eland commonly referred to as Lake Mburo National park and to the source of the Nile, the majestic Murchison Falls, Africa's largest lake, tree climbing lions and the largest flocks of skimmers. A travel to Uganda is a reminder of where we have come from. While here, you can take time and visitBwindi Forest National park where you will get the opportunity to interact with our wild relatives - Mountain gorillas. Other parks in Uganda can also be visited so as to see the chimpanzees, olive baboons, colobus monkeys, vervets and blue monkeys. Such is the diversity of Uganda. Nature in Uganda is as comical as it is awe inspiring. It is with this reason that you are encouraged to come and see for yourselves. Travel is a passion that has to be fulfilled - just do justice to nature and visit Uganda. And please remember that no visit to Uganda is complete with out a trip to see the Mountain Gorillas. As Sir Winston Churchill noted Uganda is truly "The Pearl of Africa". From end to end, Uganda is one beautiful garden. Current Jobs in Uganda
