The NFL London 2021 returns to London in October and Tom Brady begins his quest for an eighth Super Bowl title when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the league's annual opener on Sept.

The first game in London since the coronavirus pandemic will be played on October 10, with the Atlanta Falcons taking on the New York Jets. A week later, the Jacksonville Jaguars meet with the Miami Dolphins. Both matches will be played at the stadium of Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur.

The NFL's first season began at the same venue, with the Bucs beating the Kansas City Chiefs to become the first team to win the Super Bowl at home. Brady will return to New England to face the Patriots, who spent the first 20 seasons of his NFL career with the Patriots before joining the Bucs last spring, during Sunday night's game on October 3.

Other highlights of the opening weekend included former Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford playing his first game for the Los Angeles Raptors on Sunday night against the visiting Chicago Bears.

Due to COVID-19, most teams expect to be fully operational to a limited audience after a season.

Tennessee Titans coach Mike Flavel said, "We're excited that our fans have been able to experience a few homes and away games in prime time, and our players are definitely using the energy of the fans." 'We're going to make our first home debut since I became manager and I'm happy our fans will be there to start the season with us.

The Titans will play five consecutive games against playoff teams from October 18 to November 14. Since the Houston Oilers became titans in 1999, they have reached a new high in eight games with the 2020 playoff team.

Defending AFC champions Kansas City host the Cleveland Browns in their first week of playoff rematches. The Chiefs eliminated the Browns in last season's division game despite star quarterback Patrick E. Mahomes losing the game to concussion.
