New Ford Everest with AR

Two weeks ago, a vehicle in heavy camouflage has appeared on the streets of Corio, Victoria, Australia. After analyzing it, we believe it is the test mule of the 2022 Ford Everest.

Although it is hard to see the details of the 2022 Ford Everest in the photos provided by users, but combined with some teaser photos released by ford at the press share, a lot of clues point to this test mule being the new Ford Everest-based SUV. Ford also mentioned in the official launch that the 2022 Ford Everest has a lot of similarities with the Ford Ranger. The car in the picture has a small diameter wheel and spoke design similar to the current Ford Ranger. Also, the rear window shape, c-pillar design and track bar are almost identical to the current Ford Ranger. There is also the fact that its license plate returns a reading on the VicRoads checker that differs by only one digit when compared to the test mule scouted during the recent development in New South Wales.

Later on, Ford Australia revealed that it has established collaborations with ARB to supply factory-backed 4x4 accessories for the 2022 Ford Everest. To give a concise and precise definition, the Ford Everest is a off-road SUV  (sport utility vehicle) with seven seats based on the Ford Ranger chassis and power trains. It has gained wide recognition and popularity all over the world thanks to its versatility. In Australia, it wins the sister title of 4x4 Australia in the 2016, and เอ ฟ เวอร์ เร ส  in Thailand.

Ford Australia has announced that the 2022 Ford Everest will come with a range of improved automotive parts that supplied by aftermarket parts giant ARB. These car accessories are only available at Ford franchised dealers and cover the vehicle for five years as well as an unlimited kilometer warranty. Both the Ford Ranger and Everest wagon are based on the T6 platform developed by Ford Australia, so they are similarly equipped.

This collaboration involves lots of ARB accessories including bullbars, sidesteps, rear steps, electric winches, and spotlights. All of these accessories are designed with the most popular designs of today. More importantly, Ford Australia designed the ARB 4x4 to better equip the vehicle according to the user's individual requirements. Ford Australia's engineering team has also tested and validated the ARB product over thousands of kilometers of driving. Testing took place in the South Australian outback and at Ford's proving ground in Loughra, west of Melbourne. The data obtained was also very satisfactory.

Andrew Birkic, president and CEO of Ford Australia, said in an interview that Ford is very pleased to welcome ARB to the company because ARB is globally renowned for its advanced manufacturing processes and strict quality control, and is respected in the off-road vehicle sector. Many of Ford's customers are looking for more quality off-road accessories through the Ford dealer network, and this partnership will mean they can use a range of ARB accessories on their favorite Ford off-road vehicles. Ford is therefore very proud to be working with ARB on a global basis. This partnership is a testament to the great vision of both Ford and ARB  to provide customers with high performance off-road vehicles with a range of first class accessories.
