How to Run GeForce Now on Android TV (Even in Unsupported Countries)Posted by Chandler Carlson on May 21st, 2021 So in the past, we've done a video on how to play nvidia geforce now on windows and mac, and it worked pretty well with our smartness proxy's vpn. You know with a bit of latency as expected, but it's way better than you know, google stadium or something like that, but recently in our testing we found out that geforce now also works on android tv. All you need is a smartness proxies vpn and a gaming controller. That'S about it and yes, you just need a vpn for authentication and then you can turn it off during gameplay with that being said, let's begin to get started. First, you need to download the geforce. Now, apk on your smartphone or your computer, now i recommend that you download the apk from apk mirror on your android smartphone, since it's trusted and all apks found there are quite safe. Of course, the link will be in the description below. Like always, oh yeah, make sure that you download in the latest version of the apk, if you're, watching this video after a while. Next, you need to send the apk file to android tv. You can watch our previous video on how to sideload apps on android tv wirelessly, but the tldr version is that first download send files to your tv on both your android phone and tv make sure both of them are on the same. see page -Fi then open the app on your android and tap to send select the apk, and now it goes to your tv and you'll, find it under the receive to option once the file is received, install file manager on your android tv. We have a dedicated video on best file manager for your android tv, but for now you can just try any simple file manager such as solid explorer, now locate the geforce now apk on your android tv through the file explorer open the apk and then install geforce. Now on your android tv right away, next open it and grant all permissions after that click on login here you'll find a code note that down or take a picture. If you need to we'll need this later now, open geforcenow.com, login on your smartphone or computer and enter the above code, now do keep in mind. If you're using geforce now from an unsupported region, then you'll have to connect to the first smart, dns, proxy's vpn and then switch to the country to united states. After that, you can log into your nvidia account and then enter the code. If you don't have an account already, you can create one it's free and there's also a paid option, depending on whatever you need. Both of them works for now i'll, just log in with my free account, which i just created for this video once you've entered the code. You'Ll automatically log into your geforce night account on the tv now to play games tap on any one of the titles, and then you have to go. Do keep in mind. You'Ll need a gamepad to play games on your tv, for this instance i'll just use a bluetooth controller. Pretty much any controller is compatible. Like you know, baseball xbox or just an you know, random one from amazon should do as well. Another thing to keep in mind is that you need to connect your android tv to a smartness vpn before playing a game, simply sideload the smartness boxes, vpn on android tv and again we have a dedicated video on that. So if you're keen on knowing how just watch that video and then connect to a us server once the game starts, you can disconnect the vpn on your tv. So there you go, that's how you install and play geforce now on android tv.
