Companion affection achievements removed in Swtor 4.0

Check out main changing features for Swtor Kotfe, you could find that affection is going to be replaced with influence in 4.0. To adjust with this change, Bioware has decided to remove all of the "Reach Max Affection" Achievements and the Achievement points which they have granted. Besides, the Achievements for "Loyalty to the [Class Name]" that were granted for maxing Affection for all of that Classes Companions are going to be changed. You will complete that Achievement by completing the "Kill x enemies with x as your active Companion" Achievements. As compensation, players will get increased point values for the "Kill 1,000" Achievements from 5 to 20, while a new Squad Commander and "Devotion to Class" titles are added, which can be retroactive if you have the kill 1000 enemies achievements pre-4.0.

Presence bonus & reduced CD on Heroic Moment are remaining

As the affection achievements won't be gained anymore in 4.0, many players are concerning about the Global Legacy Unlocks tied to Companions: If the effort they have made by spending lots of swtor credits, running multiple classes, and maxing affection will be taken away, and if the presence bonuses and the reduced Heroic Moment cooldown will be losing. To clarify, Eric told that those are remaining exactly the same, so the benefit is still there for maxing your companions Affection and completing their storylines.
There must be some people who cannot understand why Bioware just bother to remove those achievements. Here is a reason from other player that may give some enlightens: The cap for Influence is higher in 4.0 than now. If Bioware just rename "Reach max affection" to "Reach 10k influence", it would be easier to achieve them with the new expansion, so it wouldn't be as rare as before. And if they make the requirement for the achievements be the new cap, part of the achievement would have to be redone so that people have to re-earn them at the higher cap. Thus, remove the achievement is likely the easiest way to adjust the cap while grant the same things.
