ISO 9001 Certification

ISO 9001 is a quality management system standard, developed by ISO (International Organization for Standardization). It is an independent organization for developing international standards. ISO 9001 is the most popular certification in ISO 9000 family. The QMS certification standard ISO 9001 sets out requirements to help organizations provide quality products and services that consistently meet customer expectations. This standard also specifies requirements for the organizations to meet the applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. This generic standard is applicable to all kinds of organizations, regardless of their sizes, types and field of activities.

ISO 9001:2015 is the popular standard that organizations around 160 countries follow to maintain Quality management. This standard includes a process approach that helps organizations to follow the best practices to monitor, control and as well as to reduce the operational errors in the system.

The first three clauses of ISO 9001:2015 is the same as the ISO 9001:2015. But the other clauses of ISO 9001:2015 is proposed based on the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) approach. These clauses explain the seven principles of quality management system in detail including customer focus, leadership, and engagement of people, process approach, improvement, evidence-based decision making, and relationship management.
