Santa Cruz County Real Estate

Not too far from the infamous city of San Francisco lies the beautiful and upbeat town of Santa Cruz. The vibes of this town are generally a mix between beach relaxation, yuppie socialites, family friendly and of course - college town. It is a great spot for seasonal or year-round living, so real estate is definitely worth the investment. The cost of living is relatively high, but it is literally the only downside of living in Santa Cruz. In all honesty, you get what you pay for, and Santa Cruz has everything from public transportation to incredible medical facilities and parks & recreation.

Monterey County Real Estate

In Monterey, there are more affordable housing options although it is primarily a tourist destination. It has a small beach town meets city suburb feel due to a large amount of traffic and amount of residential areas. The city tries to maintain a small beach town feel though which keeps it beautiful and quaint for the most part. The positive side of living in Monterey, even though it gets tens of thousands of visitors each year, is that it definitely has a lot to do! From whale watching to scuba diving, surfing, and kayaking. There’s always something going on in this town

San Mateo County Real Estate

Close to San Francisco, but not too close, lies the beautiful county of San Mateo. Mainly split up into neighborhoods, San Mateo has multiple different feels to it based on what area or real estate you are looking into. San Mateo Park is considered the best neighborhood and is full of stately old houses that are well maintained. Downtown San Mateo is a great place to be if you are a foodie or a night owl or enjoy walking to your favorite coffee shop down the block. Western Hills is a great neighborhood of San Mateo for the college aged due to low prices and close proximity to the community college.

Santa Clara County Real Estate

Santa Clara is known as a more buyer friendly city that is growing and developing due to its location on the outskirts of San Jose and smack dab in the middle of Silicon Valley. Cost of living is high, but median income is also high in comparison in this area. Public transportation is no their forte and traffic is rough, but it is a very clean and safe city with lots of school options.
