V Festival Passes team was formerly Fifa Coins known as Saracuse and began recording at Bedrock Studios in Leicester where Frank Edwards worked as an engineer. The unique team associates all hailed from Countesthorpe and Blaby, and the team formed while Pizzorno and Meighan were attending Countesthorpe Coinsmunity College. The influence of The Stone Roses can be heard in their first jams. Their first team overall look was at the Vipers Rugby Club to celebrate Chris’ 18th birthday with loved ones. The team were soon spotted and changed their name to Kasabian, after Linda Kasabian, a participant of the Charles Manson cult (aka the Manson “family”) popular for serving as his getaway driver. In an interview with Ukula, bassist Frank Edwards explained how the former musician Frank Karloff picked the name. Reading up on Charles Manson, the Kasabian name stuck with Karloff.

Kasabian are a BRIT Award-winning British indie rock-band that formed in Countesthorpe, Leicestershire in 1999. Initially coinsprising vocalist Tom Meighan, musician and keyboardist Captain christopher Karloff, musician and backing vocalist Sergio Pizzorno, bassist Frank Edwards and drummer Ash Hannis, the team has launched three studio collections – Kasabian (2004), Kingdom (2006) and West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum (2009).

During the recording of Kasabian’s second record, Kingdom, Captain christopher Karloff, one of the band’s chief songwriters, had “artistic and creative differences” and was asked to leave the team, according to the band’s web page, although there is evidence to suggest that Captain christopher Karloff remaining due to individual circumstances. He had contributed his ability as a copywriter to three of the songs on Kingdom (the headline track, which went on to be the first individual launched from the record, and also By My Side and Stuntman). http://www.urfifa.com/
