Eric Provides More Info about Swtor KoTFE Operations, Crafting and Alliance

Posted by gracedashen on October 16th, 2015

As always, Bioware still keep a lid on the information about Swtor Knights of the Fallen Empire. This is also the main reason why players always doubt whether Bioware is ready to provide a less-bug KoTFE. However, Swtor2credits still get more information recently from the official forum, where the community manager, Eric answers questions about operation, crafting, alliance and more other relevant elements in new expansion. Swtor2credits.com is the best place to buy swtor credits, Swtor2credits.com offers the safe and fast Swtor service, such as Swtor Credits, Swtor Power Leveling and Swtor guide.

Hard mode Operations grant ilvl 224 gear when buffed

If you also concern about how the rotating BIS gear is going to work in Operations, now here is the answer. Eric confirmed that one hard mode Operation will be designated as a "High-Priority Target" each week, which can be found in the fleet and the FP/Op section. There will be a Target Analysis Computer with a holo version of the last boss of the Op. This HM boss will be dropping ilvl 220 under normal circumstances, but drop ilvl 224 in addition to their normal drops when they are buffed as the High-Priority Target. For further clarification, each boss will drop 224, not just the final boss. Also, each boss is assigned a specific piece, it is not random.

The coverage of Alliance will be reported on Oct.20

If you haven't got much information about the Alliance in Knights of the Fallen Empire, just stay tuned on Early Access launch day, the 20th, when some press folks will be doing reporting on Alliance. Maybe it is a bit late for people to know the details; Eric explained that they are aiming at matching the release with their own blog on Alliance around the same time.

Older Crafting patterns only for cosmetic appearance

Older Crafting patterns that were impacted by the Mastery changes, or shared duplicate purpose, have been removed from Swtor 4.0. And instead they will be found in an Archive section, and will be used only for a cosmetic appearance. This is also affected by the other changes, such as changes to who crafts what.

Companion affection achievements & points would be lost

As it was introduced before, companion affection will be replaced with influence in 4.0. All of the "Reach Max Affection" Achievements will be replaced by "Kill x enemies with x as your active Companion". And there will be increased point values for the "Kill 1,000" Achievements from 5 to 20 as compensation. However, Eric told that there are no plans to auto-grant the kill Achievements. The only thing confirmed is that some players will lose Achievement points in 4.0 (or gain them, if they already have the kill Achievements)

Knights of the Fallen Empire will be hitting the shelves three days later. Though there would be some confusion on the mechanics, the expansion will reveal all mystery.
