There is a large difference between problem solving and positivity with creative thinking. Creative thinking and problem solving are actually two distinct things. They are not related. In fact, the best leaders in the company world are problem solvers and creative thinkers.
It can look like a no brainer. Problem solving and positivity are the exact same thing. It would be simple to call problem solving and positivity precisely the same thing as well. But from all the many soft skills they may have taken, it is good communication, problem solving and imagination that have been deemed the most beneficial. On your interviews or application, you wish to make sure you're giving signs that you're able to communicate efficiently with other individuals.
Some folks might call creative believing a'soft skill.' Some creative people really think the worst thoughts, but they then put those thoughts in to words and say them aloud. They may be creative in drawing or painting, but not so much with problem solving and positivity. These individuals can know how to express their ideas, but not how to implement them into a problem solving approach. However, that's fine because these people are problem solvers first rather than creative thinkers.
Problem solving and imagination is where the action takes place. The problem solver is thinking'out of the box' and coming up with innovative answers to issues. Creativity is coming up with new ideas and ways of problem solving. When you see somebody with a unique and creative insight in a problem, it's likely a problem solver. Somebody who sees something which everyone else doesn't see and comes up with a distinctive solution.
And, that is what problem solvers do. They consider things from different angles and they think beyond the box. Problem solvers are creative problem solvers, not problem-solving machines. They use their imagination to discover the answers and they use their instinct to discover the solutions too.
