Malaysia, Truly Asia !!!

Malaysia is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. Island resorts, excellent dive sites, white sandy beaches are the main attractions in Malaysia. Oldest rain forest on the earth is in Malaysia. Big temples, skyscrapers, pristine beaches, magnificent landscape, dense jungles, soaring peaks and rain forests are the attractions Malaysia is offering. Truly, Malaysia is a paradise on the earth.

Kuala Lumpur
Kuala Lumpur is the capital city of Malaysia. At the height of 1453ft, Petronas Twin Towers are one of the tallest buildings in the world. Sultan Abdul Samad building is a blend of Victorian and Moorish architectural styles. The Tasek Perdana Lake Gardens is another tourist attraction. National Monument and Parliament are located here. It is a very favorite picnic spot.

Batu Caves are natural caves located few kilometers away, north to the city, Hindu shrine of Lord Subramaniam is here. Museum Cave is located nearby. Well Preserved rain forest, Templar Park is located 22 kilometer north to Kuala Lumpur. There are swimming lagoons and waterfalls. Largest agriculture park, Selangor, is located at Cherakah in Shah Alam. It has a facility for roller skaters and skateboarders and a large playing area. The Forestry Research Institute is an excellent example of ecotourism.

Perak & Pangkor
Perak means “silver” in malay language from which city derives its name. There are silver ore deposits in the region. Ipoh and Kuala Kangsar are the main cities. Ipoh is the third largest city of Malaysia. Kuala Gula Bird sanctuary is very popular among tourists. During September to December migratory birds migrate here. Kellie’s castle is located nearby Batu Gajah, is half an hour drive from Ipoh. It is an unfinished castle. Scotsman William Kellie Smith started work on it, and after his demise it remained unfinished. He wanted to create a piece of his Scottish homeland here. It is believed that there are some tunnels and secret rooms. Perak Tong is a limestone cave temple located north to Ipoh, at Jalan Kuala Kangsar. There are more than 40 statues of the Lord Buddha. Kek Lok Tong and Sam Poh Tong, Near Gunung Rapat are excellent cave temples. Statue of Lord Buddha is standing here alongside rock formations and magical stalactites. First in the World, Rubber plantation started in Kuala Kangsar in 1877, The Royal Palace Istana Iskandariah is a beautiful building in the town. Pangkor Island is a well known tourist attraction. Water sports and excellent sandy beaches are the main attractions of Pangkor Island.

Penang
Penang Island is also known as “Pearl of the Orient”. Sandy beaches are the main attraction of the tourists. Georgetown is the Penang’s main city. Chinese, Malay, Thai and Indian cultures have merged here. Campbell Street and Canarvon Street are the main shopping areas. An old Chinese clan house, Khoo Kongsi, Penang Museum and art gallery are worth visiting.

Langkawi
It is made up of 104 islands, among which the Langkawi island is the largest one. It is a free port and many duty free shops are there. It is known for its water sports, sailing, swimming and scuba diving.

Malaysia is truly Asia !!!
