Do you want to be able to eat different sorts of foods without letting your health be negatively affected? You are then a person who needs to go for Indian Food. You must be wondering why. This is because Indian cuisine not only has a lot of variety but also it is simply incomplete without vegetarian recipes. These recipes consist of different spices which make them super delicious. Green, leafy vegetables, beans, lentils are very helpful in keeping a person healthy. Vegetables are cheaper than meat but their importance as food cannot be ignored and if you make them are part of your routine diet, your life will see a positive change.

If you are switching to Indian food, you need to be expert in making the following three items and let me tell you, “It won’t be easy!”

Roti: It is like bread but it is flat. You will usually eat it with a curry.

Naan: It is like Roti but it is thicker. Just like Roti, you will eat Naan with curry, meet or vegetable. Both Naan and Roti can be fried in Ghee or Oil to get an amazing taste but do not let eating it (the fried product) becomes your habit.

Kulcha: Kulcha is not so different from Roti either. You will find it in Punjab.

There are many dishes that are eaten with the three items mentioned above and if you don’t how to make them, you will hardly enjoy Indian food.

Just like Indian culture which is a mixture of several civilizations, Indian cuisine is a combination of numerous foods. Upon the arrival of Muslims in India, the eaters of vegetarian recipes became aware of foods like Kebab (made of meat) and Pulauo (made of rice). It was hard for the Hindus to adopt many Muslim foods as they contained meat but Muslims, who now make a considerable portion of Indian population, developed many new dishes that would contain both meat and vegetables like BhindiGosht (ladyfinger and meat) or AaluGosht (potatoes with meat).

Indian foods are yummy and healthy but only if you eat them carefully. Many of their dishes contain so many spices which can hurt your stomach if you intake too much of them. Also, these dishes are rich in fats which can cause many heart diseases. So, enjoy the Indian meal occasionally and stay healthy.
