It'S that time of year again, when everybody's thinking about Thanksgiving dinner, except we're not thinking about what we're gon na eat, we're thinking about the table that we're going to serve it on. We are going to show you guys how to build a fifty dollar diamond kite and we're gon na build it faster than you can cook a turkey we're gon na build this table with only three tools. A miter saw the Kreg, jig and row four materials. All you need is 12, two by six boards, a handful of pocket screws and a bottle of wood glue, depth wise test those boards. You can download the free plan on our website, so beauty of this dining table is that basically we're cutting down a bunch of two by sixes and that's 90 percent of your work and the beauty of having your sister here helping you is that she can make All the cuts for you, okay, what guys guy makes a little side legs hold on I'm ordering once just a minute once you've made the cuts on all your boards, its pocket whole time and don't forget guys on our plans on our website. We show you exactly where to put those pocket holes 12 a.m. we are now going to build this dining table from the ground up. That'S my drill and you know what we love about this project. It is so simple and really that's why we designed it like that cheap and easy. That'S! Oh now, you wan na build a base of the table. This is such a sample process. Okay, now we've got both two legs for base. Get it's basically two squares with a tabletop rectangles, not squares. What of now? All we have to do is attach those runners in between Hey these two boards, we're actually going to be attaching these down at the bottom, but that's the top of the tape. So it's upside down, yep just makes it easier call them runners because they run from one side of the table to the other. We'Re adding glue right here in this joint again, that's just going to keep this table strong and we're catching it again because same pocket hole screws. The runners have been attached now we're going to add the supports and it takes all right now. We'Ve got our base built we're going to take this outside and give it a coat of spray paint doctor. Is the patient ready? Let'S operate, you time's the tabletop once again, really simple. This is just eight two by six boards. We'Ve added pocket holes to seven of those boards, and you want to make sure when you're lining them up that your pocket holes are all facing the same direction and don't forget a little bit of wood. Glue goes a long way to get the extra strength and also don't forget the breadboard. Why do they call them breadboard? I don't know why do they call them breadboard the world may never know breadboard to those pieces at the end of the table, they're just for decorative accents. You don't see the plants on the indicator. It makes your mouth look prettiest. Our next step is going to be to flip this bait over after we line it up, we're going to attach it to our tabletop we're attaching the top now almost finished. For this we are using two and a half inch spec screws. This is a Torx bit that are a star bit we're going to go through our rectangle legs, then up into the tabletop, and it's going to hold it nice and tight. I we used. Probably fourteen excuse me yeah. Maybe I didn't count. Okay, perfect! Oh my gosh! It looks so hopefully died of it. All I got to do is give this bad boy a coat of stain and we're ready for company. What do we love staining Ashley? We less staining because it's really easy and it dries super fast. I'M serious! We like easy. It also makes the grain show through so we feel like when we paint. Sometimes it covers up all the pretty wood. But it's easy. You just wipe on wipe off. We got a stain applied and now we're going to apply a coat of poly and then we'll raise the company all right guys. You officially have no more excuses to not no Thanksgiving dinner at your house. Now that official source have your $ 50 dining table, you're going to be the hostess with the mostess, don't forget to subscribe, guys, oh yeah, and make somebody else cook the turkey this year. Good point!
