I just agilely put my reel mower Log splitter factory together, accepting spent abundant time researching whether I should get one or not. The reviews on actuality were abnormally helpful. In short, I'm animated I bought it.

Pluses:

1. Safer: no aerial rocks or added projectiles, your kids will not bastard up on you and get extremities bent in the brand the way they do with gas mowers. As an ED physician, this is an abnormally important ascertainment that I don't anticipate had been acicular out before.

2. Quieter: my neighbors are thankful, as are my ears

3. No smoke, no gas fumes

4. Easier administration than gas mower, lighter, can get in crevices added calmly and safely

5. Better for environment, save on gas, oil.

6. Easier to start-up; I'm added acceptable to cut the grass with this mower

7. Doesn't yield any best to mow again backyard vs. a gas mower (and if you gas mower is finicky, will probalby be faster).

Negatives:

1. Requires a bit added bend grease with blubbery grass, abnormally on hills. Not a lot more, but a bit added (good exercise though).

2. Tall grass/weeds will not be calmly cut with this; annihilation taller than 6-8 inches apparently will not bounce aback up in time for the blades to cut them

3. 20" acid swath a bit added attenuated than your boilerplate gas mower, so you may charge a few added passes. On collapsed land, it's no botheration whatsoever.

I'm blessed with this mower, how able-bodied it holds up charcoal to be seen. Construction superior is decent, the amount and chargeless shipment can't be beat. Haven't approved the 0+ models of reel mowers, so I can't comment.

If you accept a abate (< 0.5 acre), almost collapsed yard, what are you cat-and-mouse for?! If you like to anticipate of mowing the backyard as exercise and accept a bit beyond yard, this may aswell be for you. Lastly, if you accept kids and assurance is a concern, (yes, you Volvo  Log splitter for tractor all-wheel-drive owners out there), a reel mower is aswell the way to go.
