Amazing Stackable 220 Volt Dryer

Being able to get your laundry done smoothly is a luxury that very few people would not appreciate. Unless you live in a building that has laundry machines for its residents, investing in good laundry equipment is a necessity. The primary consideration for these machines is space, or rather the lack of it. Stackable washers and dryers can be a lifesaver in a modern home. You can easily convert a small closet into your laundry center, safely tucked away behind a closed door when not in use. Alternatively, you could use a corner of the garage or basement. Even if you decide to place your washer and dryer side by side, you can use the tops to add in a counter top. If you have the space to do both, you can play around with your options. A 220 volt stackable washer and dryer is the perfect option for homes with limited space.

Stackable laundry devices come in many variants. You can get a washer-dryer that can take care of the entire wash cycle, or you can opt for separate washers and dryers. Both have their pros and cons, but with separate machines, you get better dryers as all-in-one machines cannot dry clothes as effectively. Dryers typically use electricity or gas, and your choice will depend on other factors. There are a lot of factors that you do need to consider when buying a stacked dryer and a few of the important ones are discussed here.

•    Size: 220 volt stackable dryers are usually available in two different widths – 27 inches and 24 inches. Most washers and dryers in the market are 27 inches wide. However, if you are hard pressed for space, opt for the 24 inch stackable washer dryer units.

•    Top Loading or Front Loading: Based on your need and preference go for the one that suits your home. Top loading machines are economical but if you are looking for a machine with impressive efficiency, the front loading ones are ideal. Keep in mind that when stacked, a dryer on top is hard to reach for children or from a wheelchair. Stacking a dryer above a top loading washer needs about a foot of extra space as well.

•    Capacity: Dryers are available in many tub capacities. Analyze your needs and choose accordingly.

•    Energy Rating: High energy rating appliances are extremely efficient. Your local utility company may also have a minimum standard rating for approved appliances. However, even if they don’t, appliances with good energy ratings consume less electricity and help you save money and are less of a burden on the environment.

When you buy stackable laundry appliances, you can purchase them as a prebuilt stack or as separate units. Prebuilt stacks can be separated in most cases, but you may have to consult the manufacturer. So, if you have been looking for a machine that allows you to complete your laundry task without taking too much space, go ahead and invest in a 220 volt stackable washer dryer.
