Is An IP Changing Software A Good Choice For You?

A shifter proxy server is an online web proxy that redirects you via another IP address from locations where you are supposed to be. You probably know already that all web browsers typically won't return to a site that you haven't visited yet. The reason behind this is that all IP addresses are actually so unique and there's no way a site or program could quickly detect and block a site. As such, the more unique the location, the less likely your Internet connection will be to return to that particular location. Shifters are used to mask your IP address to make it look like your location is at an IP address which is much closer to yours. You can usually tell a shifter proxy from a regular proxy server by the discount coupons they give you. Shifters are often found operating discount coupons during special promotions. Coupon codes can be used to receive even further discounted rates on web hosting, domain names, and other services. All you need to do to use a shifter proxy while participating in any promotion is enter the promotional discount code (you'll usually find it on the web page of the discount code provider) and click the "Go" button. It will then safely bypass any restrictions placed on your computer by your Internet Service Provider (ISP). Your IP address will change but it won't be revealed to anyone else on the Internet. It will remain invisible to the server, so your location will never be revealed. Contrary to popular belief, you can use a shorter proxy even if you don't live in the United States. There are some US based IP servers which allow you to bypass filtering rules by using a shorter proxy. The shorter proxy will be picking up your request from a United States based destination, such as your office or home. From there it will pass the request on to the proper server for handling your request. If you're using a regular proxy, the IP addresses you request will be checked against a large database of IP addresses. If your request is denied, it could mean that you are trying to access a server that is not located in your own country. Most shifter proxy websites also have a backconnect feature. When a user types in their IP address, the website will check to see if they are currently online and able to access the web sites that they want. If the website finds out that the user is offline, it will let them know and redirect them back to the front door. A backconnect feature is very useful for internet users who frequently use different web sites. ShoppingCodes makes it possible for them to go back to certain web sites if their connection gets disconnected for whatever reason. To make it even better, most shifters offer discount coupons. Usually, you only need to enter your IP address to get a discount coupon. Usually, the discount coupons vary from site to site, but they are usually 10% off your entire bill. Shifters also typically offer a lower price than other similar services. So, whether you are looking for a basic proxy or one with the backconnect feature, you should definitely take advantage of any discount coupons you can find. However, one thing that you must keep in mind if you choose to use an IP changing software to change your IP addresses is that the software itself will require the installation of a backconnect feature. For this reason, it may be easier to find a residential shelter proxy for less money. However, if you must use the backconnect feature, then the IP changing software might not be your best option. It's important to keep in mind that these types of IP changing software programs are not meant to serve as a substitute for a private proxy server. If you need the privacy and security of a private proxy server, then the IP changing software is not for you. In summary, an IP changing software program is more likely to be easier to find and cheaper than the specialized residential or business IP changing software. But if you need those features, then you might want to check out the specialized shifter proxy services instead. Remember, if you use an IP changing software program, you will have to purchase a backconnect software to use it. Business and residential IP changing software packages do not require the backconnect feature.
