"Is it OK to wear white to a wedding?" my friend texted me, along with a shot of a breezy cream sundress. My immediate response: "No way, you can't steal the bride's thunder on her big day." But upon seeing Emma Roberts's bridesmaid dress, I'm having second thoughts. Maybe it's totally fine.

The Scream Queens star, who definitely knows her way around a fancy look, attended her stylist Kara Elkin's nuptials in a white maxi, blending right in with the rest of the wedding party. While Emma's Instagram suggests that the dress code called for a long design in the shade, it's not exactly common to match the bride.

Nevertheless, Emma made quite the lovely guest; her dress's sleeveless silhouette featured lacy detail along the neckline and an elegant satin skirt that covered her shoes.

Read on to see Emma's latest bridesmaid outfit from all angles, along with a shot of the bride, who wore a tiered Houghton dress to walk down the aisle. Then, if you're bold enough to take the risk, shop for white slinky gowns inspired by Emma's to slip into for your next wedding.

Emma's pre-wedding party look was white, too! She tucked a simple tank into a maxi skirt to take photos with the bride and groom.

The bride, celebrity stylist and fashion designer of Elkin, Kara Elkin, wore a tiered white Fall '16 Houghton gown.

Emma chose a different white dress for Kara's pre-wedding dinner, which she covered up with a luxe-looking leopard coat.

At the wedding celebration, Emma covered up with a black blazer.
