But for the most part, at least they have to dance. Many people will have traditional graduations, as opposed to level 2020.

During the flu pandemic, Proms Tickets most seniors celebrate graduation during a “drive” ceremony, drive their car to the stage, leave, get their diplomas and get back on the bus. Last year’s dance was impossible.

This year, many schools are holding dances outside to reduce the risk of infection or transmission of COVID-19. Others place a lot of restrictions on the way students gather.

“There are no expectations for the elderly this year. We are surprised and grateful that our advanced activities can happen,” said Nathan Lear of Rochester Adams High School.

In mid-May, Rochester Community School held a dance party for all three high schools at the Grand Palace Ballroom in Shelby Town, and the entire evening was held outside the tent.

The dance consists of traditional activities, such as dinner and formal costume dancing.

“For this year’s ball, we’re also excited to add a backdrop to horse riding and horse riding, as well as a great outdoor photo opportunity,” said Lori Grein, a regional spokeswoman.

Orion Lake High School holds a ball at Grand Palace on Friday, June 4.

The theme is “Oscar Night”. The students wear formal clothing. Dinners, music, dances, photos, and award ceremonies are held.

The students are divided into six groups. They can choose their own team but have to stay with these students throughout the event. Dinner is served outside the tent. Orion Lake Community School spokesman Mark Snyder said dancing on multiple dance floors should reduce congestion. Students must wear masks unless they eat or drink.

Like several other districts, Huron Valley School left the prom program to parents.

In mid-May, a parent-led dance party at Milford and Lakeland High School was held off the premises.
