4 Japanese Words to Know Before Watching Hentai

If you wish to watch hentai, you might want to brush up on your Japanese first. This will give you extra satisfaction when characters in the videos use the language while getting some action on, which leads to the best hentai experience.

For those who are already relatively advanced in their Japanese language learning, feel free to go ahead and watch hentai videos. This might be as easy as ABC to you, but this will help those who are new to the Japanese culture or language. Do also keep in mind that there are obviously a whole slew of words hentai lovers know by heart, so if you're keen, you should check those out!

Here are the four Japanese words that might come in handy when you're watching hentai videos wherever you are.

1. Hentai

While the word 'hentai' might refer to the pornography or art you're appreciating, it also means 'pervert' in the Japanese language.

Now, don't be offended. You should know of what this word means so that you won't be confused when someone in the video shouts or teases 'hentai!' at a 'Senpai' who's ogling at the character's breasts or talking about his sexual urges.

Plus, now that you know this, if you're ever in Japan, you'll be able to differentiate between someone calling you a pervert or just telling you about the awesome, uncensored hentai videos available.

2. Senpai

Many Japanese hentai videos depict innocent, chesty schoolgirls in love with their 'senpai', which means 'mentor' or 'senior'. There is also a meme out there that goes "Wow! I hope Senpai notices me..." because in many cases, girls in the hentai videos are shy and do not know how to approach their handsome, popular male schoolmates.

3. Bukkake

Chances are, you have heard this word before, once or twice, when watching Western pornography. There are two meanings to the word, which literally translates as sprinkling water.

The first meaning is ejaculating on someone, while the other refers to when a group of men ejaculate on someone, usually a woman on her knees.

Since the word means 'sprinkling water', it's actually also used in many everyday Japanese dishes, like the bukkakeUdon. I actually had to stop myself from laughing after seeing that in a menu once when I was in Japan!

4. Nekojin

A 'nekojin' is 50 per cent human and 50 per cent feline female, which usually mean she has a woman's body with pointy cat ears, cat tail and mittens on their hands. How adorable, and she will probably even purr nicely if you're a good owner. But if you're bad, you might get a tiny scratch...

The word 'nekojin' actually comes from 'neko' - which means cat - and 'jin' which means nationality or race! Thus, if you're interested in girls dressed up as cats, you can easily search for 'neko' as well.

You can even see nekojins outside hentai videos, especially during cosplay shows and in Halloween parties. Those nekojins, however, tend to overcompensate for the lack of cattiness with sexy outfits and lots of skin. Which is not a bad thing, we think.
