Ok, we've taken the full kit out of the box and we've laid it all out and, as you can see here, all the kit components are here directly in front of us on the Amalfi wood-fired oven book. There'S a complete list, a checklist of what you actually get in the kit and if you take five and just have a quick look, you can make sure that all the components are in the kit and ready for assembly step one. So what we do is we use alcohol, which you can pick up from your local kitchen, your wife's, not around. Probably it's what we have here in the DIY Kish is this blanket here is a floral blanket. This is the blanket that will be used below the floral bricks itself. This is a special blanket. Your next stage is to bring the blanket forward and push the blanket down into the grooves, with the other bricks that we feel is now taking out of the pack. All these bricks are numbered number one to the left-hand side of the front of the other. Each individual chamber has its weight. Factor on this particular rear chamber is a hundred and twelve kilos in weight. What we do is is that we remove the front floor piece. Just pop that front floor piece to one side, we're now on the step: 9 we've installed the middle chamber and we're now moving forward Peters, going to install the front oven floor indicate also supplied. Is your jointing compound that this jointing compound comes in a bag as such? What felix furniture have now is the oven all set for the sealant that we had that we've already done a premix. We also require a bucket of water, so our next stage of the amalfi DIY ii, kid is till m, wrap it in insulation. Our next step, then, is to is to actually wrap the oven in tinfoil. As I said, it's ordinary, cooking foil. Everybody should have right. We'Ve now come to the final stage of putting the actual DIY kit together, what's which is supplied in the kit, and this is the chicken wire and the chicken wire we're going to wrap over the oven. As you can just see, it's very simple if Peter just goes - and this is the final stage of the DIY kit now, what we're going to go through here is actually the render mix you. You will not get it in in the kit. Okay, we've come to the end of the rendering of the oven. We floated the oven down and we've put a particular finish on the oven. In this particular case, a lot of people may find their own particular shape. They may even decide to mosaic the oven or to even change the color of the of them, depending on what they want as a finished product. But the rule of thumb, with the oven right now as it is. What we need to do is play a little waiting game for a couple of days. Just for this exterior render to dry nice and hard, then we need to light a small fire just to remove the moisture so that the oven is fully cured once that is all done if the assortment is to go outside into the open air - and you wish To seal the oven, then a clear, concrete sealer over the whole exterior of the oven to seal it from the weather elements, if you're below or on the cover, as we are here today, then obviously, there's no need to do that again. The only enemy that fire has is water and if water gets in it will try to put the fire out. So an exterior, clear coat will sort that problem out. The way we've showed you today, I think, is quite an easy and very fast way to put this oven together. I think approximately you should be looking at getting the oven to this stage finished stage approximately five hours - that's the finished product and we hope that there'll be many hours of cooking in it and entertaining
