During Using hand-lay FRP product, the surface severe frost or yellowing. Causes and prevention measures are as follows:

The main reason and solution for bleaching：

1, the gel coat resin is not completely cured, appropriate changes in the ratio of hardener systems and usage.

2, pigment or filler improper selection or excessive amount, must strictly control the dosage.

3, resin formulations wrong, does not apply to the conditions of use, it must be properly selected resin formulations.

4, resin or fibers mixed with water, too much humidity operating environment, must overcome aerodynamic influence of moisture or wet.

Yellowing causes and solutions

1, the speed of the working chamber is too large, or reinforcing material too dry, the working environment should ensure that the raw materials with dry and low humidity;

2, resin wrong or incomplete curing, stability of the resin should be used to make products entirely cured before use;

3, Using benzoyl peroxide and amine accelerators easy to turn yellow, and if use too much peroxide methyl ethyl ketone and colorless accelerators it will be better.
