The retardant fiberglass chopped strand mat

Scott & Fyfe's products are Polymat FR, which is designed uses a sandwich of chopped glass fiber mat for the RTM (resin transfer molding), the core material is 100% glass fiber, sandwiched between two layers of chopped strand mat. the fiberglass weight percentage in FRP products up to 40 percent,  forming a high strength products.

According to reports, Polymat FR products will be aimed at the highest level of fire performance applications, such as the interior components for rail vehicles which meet EN45545 standard. This design goal also need flow of resin performance with efficient and fast. So that improving production efficiency when using high glass content. Early reaction from the market is very favorable, the company will feel excited that this fireproof composites product will have a place in this market.
