The wind turbine without blades

Recently Vortex Bladeless not captured wind by the rotational movement of the wind turbine, but develop a wind power generator, called vortex, which is no blade of carbon fiber-intensive wind turbines. Vortex structure by shaking, fiberglass chopped strand mat and capturing energy generated.
The company claims that he had not simply just remove the blade, but it is designed to put any relevant parts are not. (no gear, key, etc.).
Vortex tower and generator integrated into a structure that requires fewer moving parts and less material to produce the same power. It also eliminates the cabin, and the blade support mechanism. Vortex claims, manufacturing production cost savings rough estimate of about 53% of the ordinary wind turbines. And the company claims, Vortex will produce 40% of the wind energy plant at low cost.
Vortex has five main sections: basic, rods, power generation systems, tuning systems and masts. Carbon fiber rods impart strength and flexibility of movement, while minimizing energy consumption. Mast is made of fiberglass and carbon fiber circular structure of light. Mast action of wind breaker produce oscillatory motion.
Company management warned, Vortex is not immune to fatigue. Wind can cause twisted structure and displacement, mainly in the elastic rod, especially in the lower part can withstand greater force. However, research into the stress confirm the work of the rod is far below the limit of the material. Computational model estimated installation work life is 32-96 years.
Currently Vortex has completed wind tunnel tests, the majority of research and development has been completed, they completed a working prototype. Also See: Carbon Fiber, Wind Turbines, Wind Turbine, Company Claims, Wind, Vortex, Structure
