What is the importance of spa in our lives?

Going for a spa, earlier, was considered something really luxurious and extraordinary, but this isn’t so anymore. People commonly go for a spa holiday, and enjoys it a lot all over them. IT has a very positive effect on the health of an individual, physically and mentally. It has been proved quite beneficial to feel and look good. Sometimes one doesn’t feel good and feels that the day had not been enough; in that case he should take a spa break so that he could feel the bliss of the spa treatment for a long time. Spa treatment are not a one day thing, they can lead up to a week and has a great effect on one’s body more than you can think, in fact it would be the most luxurious holiday you ever had. The spa industry has a history of more than a thousand years and today has evolved into a clinical concept. The process of hydrotherapy is used into it; it uses three key ingredients in providing you with a great physical and mental relaxation. These are heat, massage and buoyancy.
 
Hydrotherapy can free us from a lot of discomforts. A massage will improve blood circulation which delivers the oxygen and nutrients to the cells, we sometimes just forget to pamper ourselves and spa is the best way to do that,  it even lower downs our blood pressure and also alleviates the pains from our body. It relieves us from numerous other problems like it reduces tension and stress from the body by strengthening the tissues and the immune system and improves the sleeping patterns of an individual. 
 
The term spa has been derived from the Latin phrases like Sanitas per Aqua and Solus per Aqua which literally means health through water. So it’s an answer to the usage of water the spa treatments. Whirlpools, saunas, steam baths and hot tubs are quite common in these treatments. Hot water has the power rejuvenate and stimulate which helps in circulation of blood and oxygen in the body. It cures problems like arthritis and diabetes. The person who gives the spa should be trained properly in the different spa treatments like the acupressure therapy training.

Like the spa treatment enhances our metabolism, it even intensifies our skin as most of the treatments contain herbal compounds which have medicinal values. Body scrubs that are practiced in these treatments remove the dead skin of the body and give an amazing glow to our skin.
