Welcome to this, like bet, I'm Lauren and I'm Jackie, and today we have a fun crash, super quick and easy fun craft to do. If you're, looking for a great birthday gift christmas is coming, some people are doing them now. It is that it's so affordable and everything. Well, almost everything is from the Dollar Tree yeah, which i think is super super great, so we bought a few products we already had so because, mostly Jackie is our DIY person, we already have Mod Podge and Ceylon in our house. So that's something we didn't have to purchase, but I do know that Dollar Tree does have Mod Podge if you're lucky to find them. If you have, if they have it, go ahead and pick up some oshkosh from them. But let's Walmart Michaels Hobby Lobby anywhere really sells mosh mosh, but we did these super fun coasters. So what kind of our Dollar Tree coaster dollar to crash part of our fellow tree, crafts, we're on the honor roll with them they're, so fun notes. I mean it's a dollar really. All you need for this is the coaster which is a dollar at the dollar tree, and they have a bunch of different. Oh F. Homeowners are kind of color yeah. I bought just a sand, color stone. It almost look like marble because I didn't yeah and you know my pictures are both dark. The what that I chose, but if you're gon na be something that's really light. I didn't want it to transfer like to see like anything dark, so I just picked their normal fans that be very neutral, yeah and then so the coaster and then your picture. Whatever your arms, you want to put on it, so this is why we think it'd be a great birthday or Christmas gift. You can really personalize it to him and ride on the picture that you want to write. You know right before yeah make it real. Really, if this would be a really great, like favorite, for a wedding, yes to give to your dead something personalized. I love the Dollar Tree coasters because they do come with the pork already in the back. So it's like gon na be super high quality. No one's gon na know it came from the Dollar Tree. That'S something that I really like about it yeah and then, once you have your coaster and your pictures and you just need like a foam brush or a paint brush, you could use a paint brush. I just think the foam brushes are the easiest and they're a couple cents at Walmart and then the modge podge to seal it watch out. It'S typically like five bucks for a pretty big bro yeah. You can get use your coupon at marquette. Michael'S don't go without googling a coupon to get it at 40 % off, so this is gon na. Be an it'll. Ask you for a million coasters. This is gon na, be such a great fun gift. To give oh, my gosh anyone I can just picture like Grandma for Mother's Day or your mom, even great Christmas gifts, birthday gifts, favors party, favors, yeah and it's so affordable, and we did this so quick yeah and a few minutes really a few minutes, and we Have these beautiful, personalized coasters we're gon na go ahead and show you step by step on how to it is wonderful, crap yeah from the Dollar Tree [, Music ], to start what you're going to do? Is your coaster thought you're going to get your coaster and you're going to I'm going to place it on top of the picture, the area that you would like to transfer on to a coaster so we'll first place it on top make sure you have everything that You really want inside. So this is probably the trickiest part and we're just gon na trace over it with a pen, so we know exactly where to cut so make sure you like, or you cut, and that's that's pretty good. I wanted to make sure I got my son's hands here, so that's a pretty good cut and now what we're gon na want to do, since this is very perfect on here, you're gon na want to make sure you cut a little bit more on the picture. So that it falls in the inside so that will we make sure it sticks on perfectly. You don't want it sticking out or being too perfect cuz then it might lift. So I'm going to go ahead and cut just a teeny bit inside of this line. So I'm going to be using a a paper cutter. You can use scissors cuz, my my photo now just place it on top and make sure that it's okay. So then the next thing we're gon na do is. I have my mosh Bosh here and then with a foam brush, you want the picture to be really wet. So additional hints 'm going to do is apply. It go to the back to kind of stick it and make sure it sticks really well to the coaster and then I'll be applying more on top of the coaster as well start off by applying some on the back [ Music ]. Now that it's stuck on, I will start applying the mosh Podge on top, so make sure you don't leave any globs on so first I'll just make sure I apply it co everywhere, especially around the edges. You want to make sure everything is pretty saturated. Then I will want to get rid of any globs. I don't want anything the blobs! I want this to dry nicely and stay stuck on then, once it is fully modge podge and you make sure you get any of the thick mosh paws off. You want to make sure it's brush evenly so kind of looks somewhat like this and then we're going to set this aside to dry and now we're going to go. Do the rest of our coasters [, Music, ], [, Music, ], [, Music, ], okay! So once your moustache is completely dry, just let it set and it will completely dry to touch so you'll be able to touch it. There will be little grooves, but that's okay, once it's dry, you can. I like doing two coats of wash brush. You just want to be really sure that it is coated correctly, because I mean you're gon na be putting your soda or your water. Things, sweat and you're gon na want to make sure that it's completely coated, but because I have this sealant, we do lots of arts and crafts here at this light fast, so we buy mosh Podge the matte, clear, acrylic concealer, so we buy these at Michael's. The same with our Maj posh, but you can buy this anywhere, you can buy it at Walmart, honestly anywhere. I'M will link on the bottom of our video, where you can purchase these two, because I have this feeling I'm going to just feel them over. Instead of doing two coats of Mod Podge, but you can go ahead and do two coats of Mod Podge, if that's all you have and just let it dry, and this will be good to go. This is good to go as a gift already as it is. So I'm going to lay them down and I'm just going to do a quick sweep across nothing thick just lightly and you're. Just gon na want to let this sit and dry and then you will be ready to go all right good. Well, there you have it about what five ten minutes, maybe depending on how long your montage takes to dry. But it's super quick super easy and I just love how they turned out they're so cute. I can't wait to make more of these, but really hope you enjoyed this video thanks so much for stopping by our channel comment down below if you'd go to the Dollar Tree and pick some of these up and try it out yourself.
