Ontraport's basic package is cheaper now- An analysis

Change is always welcome, but only when it is positive and brings something better. If you belong to the online entrepreneur community then you must have noticed the recent changes, Ontraport has introduced. They have slashed the price of their basic package and now they are offering this package at a very affordable price for the first time users. So this shift has certainly startled people and they are mildly confused too. There must have been a reason which propelled Ontraport to take this decision. So was it because they wanted to reach out to the group of small business owners who can not afford a pricey system like theirs, or was it because they felt threatened by biggest competitor CloudNet360? Let us do an analysis of new Ontraport pricing and find out what all the fuss is all about.

If you love to stay updated about different software in the market and the updated versions they come up with frequently, then you already know that Ontraport has always been a pricey software. All their three packages have been expensive and they offer a handful of features. Not to mention the add-ons for which you need to pay extra price and the expert whom you need to hire. So after adding all these costs, you can definitely say that it is an expensive system.

Now just compare it to CloudNet360 whose SuperStarter package, which happens to be its basic package starts at a cheaper price than Ontraport. But despite being cheaper in price, it is more powerful as compared to Ontraport. The SuperStarter package comes with mighty tools fully integrated into the system and it is capable of giving the best sales and marketing support to a beginner.

It seems like Ontraport team has felt that they have competition now and since they apparently are willing to transform into an affordable system they brought the price down to the same level. But here is a twist, they forgot to add more features to the basic package which the CloudNet360 SuperStarter package does. The Ontraport basic package is basically the same as it was before and given the simple features it has, it is difficult to assume that anyone using it would be able to make any sell.

If you take another look at the Ontraport alternative, CloudNet360 SuperStarter package then you would appreciate the effort the team has put into in developing this package. It is indeed a super starter in every sense of the term, it is the best weapon for those who do not have plenty of bucks in their pockets but want to make it big. This package offers Auto Responder / CRM, Free eCommerce Website, Auto Responder Integr, Affiliate System and what not.

So the picture is quite clear here, aping something does not work in your favor unless you are aping something substantial. So in this context bringing the price down would hardly help them because frankly speaking people are not going to pay even a single dollar on a system which is so inefficient.

The final verdict is quite clear here, so for your business when you choose a sales automation software, do not stop at comparing prices, compare features as well only that will lead you in the right direction.
