Our HexaPhob brand intraocular lenses (IOLs) are made from Terpolymer and Poly Acrylate Hydrophobic material. HexaPhob mono-focal IOL is the basic range in our foldable Hydrophobic IOLs. Hydrophobic IOLs provide maximum comfort with superior performance. Private practitioners offer foldable, hydrophobic IOLs to the patients who are looking for the best comfort and excellent performance. Foldable hydrophobic IOLs are getting popular in semi-charitable institutes that offer the option of paid surgery.

Foldable hydrophobic IOLs are popular with surgeons who use PHACO emulsification technique for cataract surgery. Since these lenses are foldable they can be implanted through a smaller incision (using an injector cartridge system) causing less post-operative trauma and yielding better surgical outcomes for the patient.

Our HexaPhob IOLs are biconvex and single piece by design. They come in a modified ‘C’ Loop design. They are manufactured using high quality imported hydrophobic material. The HexaPhob IOLs are only available in the posterior chamber variant.

Our HexaPhob modified ‘C’ Loop IOLs are available in the below variants:

  • Clear Spherical with 360 degree square-edge (Model number 40492).

  • Yellow Aspheric with 360 degree square-edge (Model number 41493).

All of the above variants are available in the optic diameter of 6.00 millimeters and overall diameter of 13.00 millimeters.

Our HexaPhob IOLs have a refractive index of 1.4905 at 35 degree Celsius. Their “A-Contstant” value is 118.4. They require an incision size of 2.40 millimeters. They have water content of less than or equal to 0.5%

Diopter range for our HexaPhob IOLs:

  • +10 D to +15 D are available with an increment of 1.0 D (+10, +11, +12 and so on).

  • +15 D to +27 D are available with an increment of 0.5 D (+15.5, +16, +16.5 and so on).

  •  +27 D to +30 D are available with an increment of 1.0 D (+27, +28 and so on).

HexaPhob IOLs are packed in a dry state in a blister with a tyvek lid. The blister is further sealed in a tyvek pouch to facilitate sterilization. These IOLs should be implanted using our injector cartridge system that is supplied along with the IOL in the box.

Our HexaPhob IOLs are sterilized using the ETO sterilization process.

HexaPhob IOL Market: Our HexaPhob hydrophobic IOLs are supplied all across India.
