How to deal with the hand lay-up fiberglass products problem?

Local contraction

Fiberglass chopped strand mat is mainly due to partial amount of resin too much, or too much product partial thickness.

Approach:

Prevent corner, avoid too much resin stage the recess.

After the product fully cured, we can add reinforcement materials.

Product charred

Products charred mainly due to the too much amount of curing agent and accelerator, poor thermal environment, or products too thick paste.

Approach:

Strict control the dosage of the curing agent and accelerator.

Use the method of Stratified curing construction.

Products lack of hardness and stiffness

Product lack of hardness and stiffness is mainly due to improper selection, or not completely cured.

Approach:

Control the amount of hardener and accelerator, an appropriate increase in the proportion of its amount.

Ambient room temperature should be at 18 ℃ condition after curing time of 3h.

Check the amount of reinforcing material, whether or not appropriate.
