We do agree that schools are not just a place for study but holistic growth and overall development. Peer behavior, teachers and school paradigms help to shape the personality of a child. Classroom education is just a part of the overall education system. Therefore, doing without schools is unimaginable at this point. However, the benefit of online education cannot be denied. The adoption of education technology globally is predicted to reach 0 billion by 2025. This includes language learning, virtual tutorials, video conferencing, and online learning software. 

Benefits of online education

With the rise of online education some of the best online learning platforms, which had been existent even before the pandemic, have gained new momentum. Several students are seeking extra educational help from the best tutors online and new students are continuously enrolling in the existing format. Online classes are offering the best standards of teaching methods through unlimited video conferencing time, auto-translation capabilities, co-editing of project work in real-time and helping students and teachers form smart scheduling calendars along with many other features. Some global educational apps are offering local educational broadcasts in separate channels focused on different age groups. 

Technology in education is here to stay

Online school was initially unplanned, as a quick transition was required with the sudden onset of the COVID pandemic. With little training for online education and poor bandwidth strength, things got to a hesitant start. The user experience is still not too conducive for many, and some have found this sudden change to e-learning, challenging. Experts believe that a hybrid model of education is deemed to emerge and should have greater benefits than the prevailing system. They feel that the integration of technology in education has found its importance and will become an integral part of the education format.

Unstable internet connections and the absence of the right devices hinder attendance in online classes worldwide. Therefore, unless disparity is overcome, online classes are still on trial. However, for a privileged section, online classes can have a long-term positive impact.
