Authentic Sichuan Food

Chef David has been experimenting with Sichuan flavours since he was 14 years old. Now the executive chef at his titular restaurant, he creates recipes and trains the talented chefs in the kitchen. The food at this place is absolutely amazing and authentic. Little Sichuan offers a range of delicious authentic Sichuan food like mini Hotpot, stir-fried dishes, dumplings, fried dumplings, and other well known snacks. Sliced beef boiled in the soup and sprinkled with pungent and spicy boiled oil, thus it becomes soft and delicate, tastes rich but not greasy, illustrating best restaurant box hill the features of “Pungent, spicy and hot”in poach dishes. Then, you’ll get an individual pot filled with the broth of your choice, which means it’s time to grab any of the ingredients on the conveyor belt. Bringing a theatrical aspect to each dining experience, Panda Hot Pot will light up the Melbourne food scene with live cultural performances on a nightly basis. Though China’s Sichuan province might be home to some extremely spicy cuisines, it’s actually quite popular among people from almost all regions across China. As we have just purchases a house a few street away, we look forward to many more visits. Pizzeria Violetta is real Italian eating and age old simplicity refreshed with contemporary flair. Using traditional wood-fire ovens Pizzeria Violetta’s authentic Italian pizza is thin in the centre, thickening slightly towards the crust and made with the finest 00 flours. Service was excellent but really consists of staff moving around with the Yum Cha trolleys and explaining what the options are. The staff then fill out a form and record your choices. I wasn’t sure where to pay after and went to take my bill downstairs but it was made clear I needed to pay on the second floor where I dined. This was the designed match for the evening, as the strong flavours of the salad matched with the Kir Yianni Petra - low in alcohol and higher in acid. Chef David will have you dining in the most luxurious surroundings showcasing their new multi-million-dollar interiors, which include strobe lights and an iPad ordering system. The 160-seater also offers diners more than 100 ingredients on offer to cook in your choice of eight different soups (including David’s signature Sichuan beef-fat broth). They also have specials that appeal, perfect for students and the lunch time city worker crowd. Japanese beer and ramen; it's the perfect match! The ramen is generous with excellent meats, rich broth, and wonderful condiments. Staff are engaging and the atmosphere is vibrant and upbeat. I ordered the steamed pork dumplings which were gratifying with generous fillings of pork. This was a great dish and some of the best dumplings I’ve enjoyed in Melbourne.
