Another very tidy little 9-hole golf course, The Springs Club in Armadale underwent some serious rennos in recent years and it shows. The course itself is a lot of fun and not crazy-challenging (you won’t find too many bunkers or water hazards), but watch out for those greens – they’ll get ya. The original course design was heavily influenced by Vern Morcom, who is responsible for many of Australia’s best layouts. Vern worked intimately with perhaps the greatest golf course architect of all, Alistair MacKenzie, who famously designed Augusta National and Australia’s best golf course Royal Melbourne.
