What is branding and what is marketing ?

Branding involves the promotion of a certain product for the purpose of greater public awareness, it more or like the expression of the basic value and true nature of your product or organisation. A brand encourages people to buy a certain product it doesn’t directly tell you to buy, instead it gives you reason to buy a product. Branding involves advertising. For example let’s say you brand Venice it involves you telling people the values of branding Venice and what it stands for.

Now, here is what marketing is ; marketing involves the promotion, distribution and selling of a product or service, marketing involves both market research and advertising. Marketing tells youdirectly to buy a product, unlike branding it encourages you to buy.Marketing is an integral part of branding.

Branding is strategic and marketing is tactical: Branding Venice is what remains in the mind of a buyer after marketing has been done, branding can make a customer loyal or not. Branding is built on many things, and one of the important things is the lived experience of the brand. Let’s take for example as a result of marketing, you were convinced to buy a phone, and it may be the first time you bought that phone brand, you may choose not to buy it again if you ever think of buying another phone, but if its a very good and powerful brand you would want to buy the phone again why ? Because you liked the experience you had with the product and there is every possibility that you would want to try it out again.Branding is bigger than any effort put in marketing.

Branding makes loyal customers from sales while marketing is based on sales : Branding brings about loyalty of customers and even people will advocate for it to others, when a person buys a products and experience the values the products stands for it brings about loyalty, they would want to buy your product over and over again, it will make them evangelist for you products, they will tell their family and friends about it and even advocate for it. Marketing is just based on sales, its possible they won’t be loyalist, you might market a product and have great sales, but does it advocate the values the brand carries after sales is done ? Branding Sarasota involves proper cooperation with employees to deliver what the brand is all about, but in marketing it might be different.

Marketing just communicate the promise you want your customers to know about, but its branding that then defines those promises. In other word you can say branding is the promise delivered after marketing takes place. Let’s say for instance you want branding Sarasota it means you have to keep the promise kept when marketing was done.
