One is through the mobile number linked to your Yahoo! account.

Another is to use the alternate email address added to your account.

Note: Yahoo does not send the lost password, you can only set a new one by verifying your identity.

Password reset using mobile phone number

Go to the Yahoo Login Assistant page and click on the "Login Difficulty" option.

2. From the available recovery options, select the one that asks you to enter your phone number.

3. On the next page, your phone number will be displayed on the screen, click "Yes, text me with a verification code".

4. Fill in the code you received on your phone and press "Verify".

5. You will see all of your Yahoo email addresses linked to your phone number.

6. Click the account for which you are recovering your password.

7. You will then see a message that you have successfully logged into your account.

8. After this, you can continue using your account as is or set a new password. It is recommended to set a new password immediately so that your account is not locked again.

9. Enter a new password twice and press "Continue".

10. In the next step, you can also update the recovery information for your Yahoo! account, or if everything is already up to date, click "Looks good.

11. When you see the message "Your security settings have been updated", press "Ok, I got it".

Password reset using a secondary email address

Go to the Yahoo Login Assistant page and click "Login Difficulty".

Enter the recovery email address associated with your Yahoo! account.

Then select "Yes, send me a verification code" when asked "Do you have access to this email?"

Log in to your recovery email address to receive the code sent by Yahoo. Enter the code and press "Continue".

Next, click on the Yahoo email address linked to your recovery email address.

You will receive a success message in which you can continue using the account or create a new password for it.
