Aluminum Chlorohydrate is a group of water-soluble aluminum salts extensively used as a coagulant in water purification and as an antiperspirant in cosmetics. Aluminum chlorohydrate chloride is one of the most frequently encountered metallic ions. It forms a major constituent of a wide range of common chemical compounds. It is also used in the medical field for the treatment of circulatory system disorders, including myocardial infarction and cerebral ischemia. Aluminum chlorohydrate chloride is used to manufacture artificial blood vessels, as an anesthetic agent in dentistry, as antifungal agents in the treatment of athlete's foot and nail fungus, as stabilizers in photographic imaging media, as oxidizers and as antimicrobial agents in numerous other fields.

Chemical properties of Aluminum Chlorohydrate are well known, and its usage in industrial and commercial fields is extensive. Alumina (Alum) chloride is a set of water soluble, non-precursors where a base and an organic molecule have been combined. It is extensively used in the food and beverages industry as an additive to many foods and beverages, especially those with a souring taste, like fruit juices and many wines. It can also be added to certain tea products and confectionary products to prevent their flavor from oxidizing. Aluminum chlorohydrate has a wide range of industrial applications. It is particularly useful as an abrasive detergent in the manufacture of paper and cement and in the treatment of concrete, slate and ceramic tile.
