Amazing features you should know about iPhone 12 pro max

Have you gotten your hands on a new iPhone? Congrats! In the palm of your hand, you have some of the most cutting-edge mobile computing technology. That's fantastic.

Along with all of the obvious nice things it can do, such as shoot amazing images and charge wirelessly, there are some other features also which you may not be aware of. 

Some of its unique features are - 

1. ProRAW camera settings - 

ProRAW photographs are saved in the DNG (a sort of RAW) file format, which is compatible with a broad range of photo-editing software, including Adobe Lightroom. The DNG format is, of course, supported by Apple's Photos app also. A "RAW" icon appears in the top left corner of the Photos app when you capture a ProRAW image.

On the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max, it will be native in the iOS camera app, but it will not be turned on by default. To enable it, head to Settings > Camera > Formats, where there's a toggle to switch Apple ProRaw on and off under a new Photo Capture section.

2. MagSafe charger - 

Wireless charging is, of course, possible with the iPhone 12 Pro Max but have you tried the new MagSafe charges? These chargers use a magnet to attach to the back of the phone, allowing you to just click and charge. A magnetometer and a single-coil NFC reader are included in MagSafe for iPhone. It essentially employs magnets to assist in the appropriate alignment of your iPhone on a wireless charger. Previously, if your phone wasn't properly aligned with a basic Qi wireless charger, it would charge much slower than usual.

3. Back tap feature - 

This feature allows you to double-tap on the back of the phone to run a specific function, such as taking a screenshot, opening Spotify, and so on! It's quite convenient, and it's similar to having a favorite app or shortcut on speed dial. To do this, go to Settings, Accessibility, then Touch. There you’ll find the Back Tap option. 

4. Alternate face ID setting - 

Tired of having to type in your passcode every time your kids want to use your phone because Face ID won't let them? You may now get your phone to open by recognizing their face as well as your own. You may also use this for your boyfriend, best friend, or if your phone has trouble distinguishing between you with and without a beard...

5. Different modes of reading 

Safari can help you read a difficult-to-read webpage. To go into reading mode, click the AA icon next to the URL you're on in the browser app. This removes all the distracting advertisements and formatting that sometimes make web pages difficult to skim. You can then press and hold the ‘AA' icon to convert the page to dark mode, greyscale, or sepia, depending on what suits your eyes best.
