If you want to procure the amazing benefits of wildcrafted herbs and spices, you have to take certain measures that will help you in obtaining the maximum advantages of the available stock. These medicinal plants come with heaps of benefits that can improve your health and prevent you from serious ailments. With help of those measures, you will get the desired outcome that can be stored for a long period and used whenever you wish to. All you have to check is that whether you have the right dehydrator, juicer, and drying screen that play a vital role in the whole process.

Dehydrator: This is a great tool to dry the freshly cut herbs and spice plants. We use dehydrator because it is the best way to preserve the real and natural flavor, aroma as well as medicinal qualities of those plants. During the earlier period, people used to follow the sundry method but with the increase in pollutants in air and weather changes, the herbs get easily spoiled and damaged causing huge losses. So, now people use dehydrators as these allow control over the temperature and make the whole process quick with very low or nil chances of damage to the plants. You can take the example of peppermint root driedwhich can be done in a matter of few minutes to keep it for long.

Juicer: This tool is used to extract juices from fresh herbal plants. We select the plants according to their medicinal benefits and check how we can extract maximum benefit from them. If the juice is more effective than its dry form, it better to take the liquid out. If you take the case of lemon balm root dried,  there is no fun in extracting the juice as it is more productive in dried form but, if your need berry juice, you have to extract the liquid.

Drying Screen: If you need sundried herbs, make sure that you have this screen where you can place the leaves in little sunlight and turn them till they are dried properly. This screen will avoid damage and leaves no moist base for the plants.
