India was known as the ‘’golden bird’’ for its purity, culture, health, wealth, and environment. But now a day’s Corruption, inflation, deforestation, scams, poverty, bribery, etc. are the hot topics in every newspaper and channels. India is in its developing mode is going through a lot of changes which are both positive and negative. In this rising economy, more focus has been shifted to the development; many schemes are being launched for better India. With the fast increasing rate of development, in order to increase land areas for living, more and more forests are cut down leading to deforestation and natural imbalances. Trees are the life force of the environment, without which life is not possible on the planet. But with the coming of developing era, more and more industries, houses, colonies, roads are being built leading to cutting down the forests and over utilization of natural resources making them scarce for the future generations.

It is always said, a country is not evil because of more evil people, but because good ones stay quiet. More corruption, poverty, inflation etc is because of good people not doing anything to mend. Well, now the scenario has changed, the government has taken initiative to bring out the best for the country and taking care of the natural environment alongside. Many schemes like swachh bharat, digital India, events happening for planting trees etc have been launched for the people and the environment, making the country a better place to live.

Sustainable Development in India comes with a large number of schemes for the social cleaning and preventing depletion of natural resources. Over many years a large number of projects have been set up and the results are outstanding. With the advent of the internet, many social networking sites are creating awareness among the youth, promoting various projects for more and more planting of trees.

Losses incurred by the country due to climate changes and biodiversity imbalances need to be controlled for further development. These issues are monetized by the Gross Domestic Product; the Green GDP of India is an index of economic growth with the environmental consequences of that growth factored into a country’s conventional GDP.
Innovation in every field is an essential feature for the ongoing of any organization. This principal also applies to our country’s government. Socioeconomic Innovations in India are rising with the coming of new schemes, more and more events, rallies, projects are being taken up for the upliftment of the state of the country. People are taking various projects and promoting them on the internet to create awareness among the nation and eliminate the ongoing bad practices and make India a pious country like before.

Mismanagement and overuse of resources have put the country under great pressure, leading to rapid and widespread environmental degradation. But maintaining this situation is not a solution, one has to come to a solution. Sustainability in India is the only solution left for this problem, otherwise nothing will be left for our future generation. Numerous measures are taken up by the government; many ngo’s are working for the environment and are reaching near to the desired result. Well, of course India is our country, if citizens won’t work for its betterment then who will.
