A Historical Journey To The Past Newbridge Village

Newbridge village developed around the railway line and station which has been built-in 1876. Newbridge is often a popular camping and fishing location with campsites available across the river. A point of pride for that town, the city have kept the structure beautifully maintained, and Newbridge has won many awards for just one of the most useful presented stations within the state. One of Australia's oldest and largest regional galleries presenting innovative exhibitions alongside an engaged and varied suite of public programs and events. The Newbridge Winter Solstice is a day of medieval magic and music. It takes place in the pub (closed for the occasion) and so on the Gladstone Green. The entertainment has contained magic shows, Viking fighting displays within the afternoon (from Iron Fest participants), food stalls, Morris Dancers, many market stalls, two bands (one in the afternoon and another for your night), horse display, street entertainment and other activities for your younger people. There will be ample food to suit everyone (vegetarians included) from food stalls at the same time as the Pub. Most people is going to be wearing Medieval Costume to include in the merriment. The highlight of a special afternoon festivities will probably be the lighting and burning from the Wickerman on the large bonfire at 5pm. People are inspired to buy small Wickermen earlier, write their problems on the tag and later throw them on the fire to have them burnt away!
