Air Handling Unit ? Components and Its Functions

You might have seen that, air conditioning systems, heating unit, ventilation systems loaded at industry and commercial buildings have air handling system or device. An air handling unit is nothing but a device to handle the air perfectly as per the needs and demands of the users. Also, an air managing device will condition the air according to the requirements of the customers.  People’s needs may differ according to the weather and climatic conditions. Air managing is the best device to gratify the demands of people with respect to air conditioning, ventilating and heating.

Eurovent air handling unit will also do the same task as what the air managing unit does. The parts of the air managing device and its functions are as follows,

Blower – It is something which the air conditioning unit requires. The function of the blower is that, it will recycle the air that is present in the building. That is, the blower will gather the air that is present in the building and then the air will be conditioned. Conditioning means, the gathered air will either be cooled or heated according to the demands of the buyer. Comparing to industries or homes, commercial building have more than two blowers for proper performance.

Filter – As the name itself implies that, it is used to filter or clean the air. Besides heating or cooling the air, it is something crucial to cleanse the air that is present in the buildings. Cleansing the air does not mean that, the filter will remove the air, rather it will clean the foreign particles and dust particles present in the air. By that, you can experience the fresh and tidy air.

Conditioning Elements – It is nothing but the elements used to either heat or cool the air. Heating coils, hot water and steam will be used to heat the air. Cooling coils and cold water will be used to cool the air. Conditioning elements are very important that every air managing unit should feature.

Humidifier – This is what responsible for maintaining the quality of the air to the point. Owing to the frequent heating, the air might have the chance to go dry. In such cases, humidifiers like vaporizer and ultrasonic humidifier will be used to maintain the air quality especially during the humid climate.

Dampers – You could find this component inside the mixing chamber. This helps to condition the air.

Mixing Chambers – Both mixing chambers and dampers have connection among each other. As I said that, dampers will be there inside the mixing chambers. This setup is used to mix the air from outside of the building. That is, outside air will be gathered and mixed, at the same time, inside air will be expelled out. This function helps to get the conditioning done quickly within some time.
