Oatmeal is the base ingredient and acts as the body's main source of B vitamins, calcium and fiber. The fiber in oatmeal helps to trap extra moisture in your body, so it helps to keep you full for a longer period of time. The carbohydrates come from whole grain oats and the remaining ingredients, including the pectin, provide a nice, hearty burst of nutrition. As far as taste goes, the Quaker Harvest Crunch is quite unique and has a very distinct flavor. It has a nice nutty flavor and tastes similar to a cross between a raisin and a walnut. It doesn't have a great taste so if you are not a fan of the cereal or granola, don't worry; there isn't a great deal of different taste that you will notice. The Quaker Harvest Crunch comes in a variety of flavors. The one flavor that is not available on the market is the cinnamon flavor. The reason for this is because Quaker wanted to retain the all-natural taste of the original product. The market for Cinnamon Almond Crunch has evolved so much that it is no longer being made in the traditional can. Instead of using the traditional can, manufacturers have learned to make these products in jars and boxes with a little bit of cinnamon thrown in. There are four main varieties of Quaker Harvest Crunch Cereal. They are: Regular, Orange, Walnut and Pumpkin. This is based on the harvest that is used to make the cereal. Each one of the four different varieties of Quaker Harvest Crunch cereals have their own unique taste. I was able to eat all four without getting hungry. Regular Quaker Harvest Crunch cereal is available in two flavors. They are: Regular Mocha and Peanut Butter Almond. The Regular Mocha flavor is the basic flavor with no additional flavoring. It has a nice thick texture and has medium sweetness. The peanut butter almond flavor is sweeter and has a slight nutty undertone to it. Both of these flavors are very tasty. The third flavor is Peanut Butter Almond. This flavor tastes like an extremely light and airy cereal. It has a nice sweet nut flavor and has medium sweetness. It has almost no crunch, but has a nice flavor. The last flavor available is Pumpkin. This has a very mild pumpkin flavor with a slight hint of nutmeg. The granola has a very slight nutmeg flavor to it. This is a good quality quaker crunch cereal. Overall, I really enjoyed the Quaker Harvest Crunch. It had a very nice flavor, was not too oily, and went well with coffee. It tasted just like any other regular Quaker cereal. The only issue I had was that after I ate the cereal, I didn't have too much energy. It wasn't that I was hungry, but that after about fifteen minutes to eat it, I was very thirsty.
After taking a break, I decided to look for more Quaker cereal. It was only about a mile away from my house. I tried one out of curiosity and to my surprise, I really liked it. It wasn't too sweet and did not have a very strong flavor. I would definitely recommend this to someone who likes the Quaker flavor but does not want it overwhelming.
I do like the idea of this cereal being organic. It is made in an environmentally conscious way, which is a good thing. I also feel that since it is made from organic materials, that it is healthier. However, if you are sensitive to dairy products, or anything with milk, then maybe you would not like it. For those of us who love yogurt, though, we would eat it all the time.
As I mentioned earlier, this is one of the Quaker choices of healthy snacks, and I highly recommend it.
