Make a Mark in the CAD/BIM Industry

Most of us think about the next big step the moment we graduate. The same is true for architects. Some may be waiting to hear from the firm they have applied to, or some may be appearing for entrance exams to pursue a master’s degree. But while waiting, architects can explore other opportunities that will add a feather to their cap of skills.

Certain Autodesk Certified Training Centres (ATCs) offer BIM (Building Information Modelling) internship training in Mumbai. In the AEC (architecture, engineering, construction) industry, BIM has become a vital process one must be aware of while handling construction projects.

Undergoing software training in Revit, a BIM-compliant software, helps architects apply for their master’s certification, as the BIM process is gaining momentum worldwide. Understanding BIM technology and working on a BIM project in an internship provides added work experience, required by job recruiters and course administrators scanning master’s degree applications.

Architects inclined to interior design may also learn the software 3ds Max with V-Ray. Candidates learn how to create photorealistic 3D views that prove extremely beneficial for presentations.

The opportunities are plenty. Therefore, architecture graduates must make the most of their available time to upgrade their skills in Revit. To make an informed decision, candidates can contact ATCs for information related to BIM training and other CAD/BIM courses and discuss BIM Architecture courses with ATC counsellors.
