LED mirrors are gradually replacing traditional mirrors in modern homes. Most interior designers today advice their clients to go for LED mirrors. And why not? There is no point in staying away from advanced technology, especially when the technology is extremely useful. LED mirrors can be positioned anywhere you want without worrying about the need of any external source of light. If you love applying make-up, you will strike a close friendship with your LED mirror. Moreover, be it your dressing table or the bathroom, LED mirrors look so elegant that you would find it difficult to move away from it.

If you are planning to get an LED mirror for your home, it would be better to talk to your interior designer about the best brand available in the market. There are a large number of brands selling their own product lines of LED mirrors. However, not all of them are at par in quality. So, it is always better to go for a reputed brand. Besides, you should be very clear about the type of LED mirror you would like to get for your home. Currently, there are four types of LED mirror which seem to be enjoying the most attention in the market.

  1. LED backlit mirror

This is the simplest form of LED mirror with a static source of light behind the mirror screen. Illumination provided by a backlit mirror is of standard quality. If you are looking for an economical option of LED mirror, this would be the perfect product.

  1. Dimmable LED mirror

Most people nowadays seem to have taken a fancy for the dimmable LED mirror. The specialty of this type of LED mirror is that you can dim and brighten the back light as per your need. If you are using the mirror alone in the evening, you can keep it dim; and if multiple people are using it, you can brighten it up. Changing the intensity of illumination is also quite simple in such LED mirrors.

  1. Infinity LED mirror

Infinity LED mirrors are extra bright mirrors. In these mirrors, the back lights are positioned in such a way, that they get reflected against one another forming a series of infinite light source. Infinity LED mirrors are usually installed in theatre green rooms. However, if you want to use the LED mirror exclusively for intricate make-up, this is the right product for you.

  1. Demister LED mirror

LED mirrors when installed in bathrooms might develop mist on its surface due to steam of warm water. The solution for this problem is the Demister LED mirror which clears the mist from its surface automatically and provides you a clear picture all the time.
