The COUNTIF Formula in Excel counts the number of cells that meet a particular condition. In financial modeling, the COUNTIF Function in Excel is a very powerful tool, because it allows you to set a condition before you start counting and number, text, value, and blank cells. There are many variations of an nested IF Statement (IFERROR, SUMIF, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS), but in this article we will focus on COUNTIF Example in Excel. The COUNTIF Function in Excel, honestly, isn\'t useful when dealing with around less than 30 entries in a dataset.
