The authorities had said that they would take action against them for harassing and extorting money.

While talking to the media, Western Railway Chief PRO said that they sacked both the TC from their job and transferred them to the control room. He further said that after the investigation is complete, they will take necessary action against them.

Both the TCs used to work as Senior Examiners at the Andheri station and the victim is a ground staff at the Mumbai International Airport.

The victim said that the TCs were standing on the platform with two constables. They were harassing people over-vaccination.

After Sen\'s accusation, while talking to the media, one of the TC denied assaulting Sen. He said they asked Sen to show his railway and travel universal pass. He further added that the photos on both of his passes were not matching and was asked to show his Aadhar card. When Sen could not produce his Aadhar card, he was charged to pay a fine.
