Plastic Cup UsesPosted by urberkit01 on April 25th, 2016 So you had a party, you’re cleaning up and now you’re left with a bunch of plastic cups because obviously you bought way too many of them just in case. You don’t want to save them because they’re so cheap to buy anyway and they just take up space but you feel bad about just throwing them away. Fear not! Here are some cool ways to use them in creative ways. If you’ve gotten over your hangover obviously. Light Garland It’s easy to make and it actually looks pretty cool. If you use the classic red cups, it’s perfect for Christmas. You take out some Christmas lights, Make X shaped holes in the bottom of the cups, Insert the lights from the bottom of the cups, Use some tape or glue to fixture them and Viola! Grow Life It’s super easy. Be part of creating the miracle of life. Just poke a few holes in the bottom of the cups, Add soil Add a seed in each cup Water and Wait! If you were successful something should start to grow soon. Keep your Herbs Fresh This one is for those who love to cook. - Put fresh herbs in the cup, - Fill it with cool water to cover them, - Put a plastic bag or foil over it, - Add it to your pasta sauce and - Mama mia those are some fresh tasting herbs! Icicles This is a yummy one. You will need icicle stick or even barbeque skewers can work. Make this after a barbeque party. - Pour your favourite juice in the cup, - Pop in a popsicle stick or similar, - Put in freezer - Take out and cut/peel away the cup and - Enjoy! Funnel This one might be more for those of us who have to live creatively on a very low budget. You can use it to funnel water or soil in to small spaces. - Make a hole at the bottom of the cup and - Pour it up! Mobile No not a phone. One of those things babies find fascinating… for a while anyway. That’s why it’s good to have different variations so you can distract the little guys easily. Plus we all know they don’t really care about how much money you spent. - Make a hole in the bottom of the cup, - Put a string through it - Attach it either with glue or use tack to plug the hole, - Decorate it by hanging strings or straws off it and - Relax… Play If you’re bored, you can have a little friendly competition with your friends and family. Popsicle holder Very useful if you have kids or if you’re just a messy adult. - Make a slit in the bottom of the cup just enough for the popsicle stick, - Cut the cup down to size depending on the popsicle size, - Pop in the popsicle and - Lick!
