Best natural sleep aids UK. Is all-natural the answer?

Today I\'m writing a short article on natural supplements to achieve better sleep and why I think they are the go-t0 for anyone seeking to improve their circadian rhythm in a safe and sustainable way.  

The #1 reason for anyone seeking a supplement in the UK is that sales of the sleep hormone Melatonin are restricted in the UK market, before we look into the benefits of using Melatonin to improve the quality of sleep and reduce sleep anxiety let\'s take a look at why it has been banned in the first place.  To be frank, there\'s a perfectly reasonable answer to this. 

Melatonin is the hormone that the body releases when our eyes detect an increase in yellow and red within the light spectrum, signalling to our brains that sunrise is underway and it is time for us to wind down, and ultimately feel sleepy. 

Because of the world that we live in (think of being glued to your smartphone here), we don\'t get enough exposure to those yellow and red hues on and evening, and in most circumstances are actually more exposed to blues and greys, signalling to our bodies that sunrise is on the way, and it\'s time for us to rise.  There is no wonder why so many people use Melatonin supplements to help themselves sleep or reduce the effects of jetlag when you bring this into play. 

But this brings us to beg the question, why is Melatonin a controlled substance in the UK, and is it safe for us to use?
